Now here is some good news for those who have been bothered about their cellphone’s battery’s bad performance. MTI Micro has developed Mobion fuel cell, which is many times better than the present Li-Ion power packs. A lab test indicated that the fuel cell could last for 2,700 hours of continuous use and it also indicated that the power degradation was less than 15% Li-Ion batteries, which lose nearly 50% of their capacity in about two years, are significantly inferior when compared to Mobion. MTI Micro feels that Mobion pack might be able to stay on standby without needing refuels. This would cut down frequent recharge cycle, shorter usage of time and a premature replacement. Finally, the batteries seem to be developing into something more advanced.
