If you do follow the iPhone closely you will remember Manomio’s Commodore 64 emulator which was rejected the first time it tried to win an approval from Apple. The rejection wasn’t observed as a disappointment by Manomio and in three months time it came back stronger (lest BASIC) this time managing to win an approval from Cupertino. This emulator which will cost a modest $4.99 will not run arbitrary disk images. Indeed, it will only be the fully licensed disk images offered through Manomio that will be supported by the C64. Although there will be some games which will already come bundled with the emulator, users can also purchase separately sold program packs directly from the App store. The games which will come bundled include- Dragons Den, Le Mans, Jupiter Lander, Arctic Shipwreck, and Jack Attack. Video after the jump.
