I bought a Lacie Lacinema Classic 1TB to store all my DVDs as it DVD is not a safe option to save the data. For it I have been trying to convert my DVDs to a supported format (.avi or .mpeg) while still retaining the original sound of the DVD. I tried to Convert to.avi with AutoGK, output audio type Original. I found no sound. Then I used Corel Ulead Moviefactory to export the VOBs to .avi., and it gave no sound but made 3GB file of 9 Gb. Then I upgraded the Lacie to the latest firmware, but till now could not make it to work. Any suggestion to fix it.
