Kyocera Corporation, based in Japan, launched the W54K. The W54K is a mobile phone designed with the ease of usage kept in mind. It is based on the W44K, whose concept was highly acclaimed. In addition to the new one-seg technology, its also equipped with the basic mobile functions such as the floating character illumination, a 2.7 inch W-QVGA liquid crystal display, two-megapixel auto-focus camera, and PC Website Viewer. This model is offered in three different colors Passionate Red, Luminous Silver, and Champagne Pink.

The phone is quite slim at 15.4mm thick and 49mm wide. Apart from being slim and easy to use, its main feature includes the one-seg functionality. One-seg start up actually means rotating the screen and closing the body, allowing the user to view direct analogue television on its 2.7 inch wide LCD screen. Another feature that you’ll love is that, recording you’re favorite television program is going to be as easy as pressing a single button. Well unfortunately this phone will only be available for the Japanese market. Those international users might have to wait before this technology becomes possible globally.
