Indian mobile phone manufacturer Karbonn mobiles has partnered with Dolby digital sound. They announced that soon they would be coming with a series of new models in India. Karbonn is partnering with Dolby Digital to provide an ultimate sound experience to users, which was previously rare in low budget handsets.
The first phone to be released in this category is Karbonn KT81. This phone would appear in retail stores in next two weeks. This phone is first in the line to have Dolby Digital sound tech. This touchscreen phone would boast a high audio output with clarity.
This phone would be a good addition for audiophiles and would provide them an opportunity to get a good sound out of a relatively inexpensive device. Karbonn KT81 would have a 3.1 inch capacitive touchscreen with Haptic touch interface. It would also have a 3.2 megapixel camera and the app store (K Store) would have downloadable apps.
Other feature of this phone includes GPRS, FM, java applications, Youtube etc. The power backup is provided with a 1000 mAH battery. Memory can also be expanded up to 16 GB via micro SD card. With these features and a massive sound, this phone would come with a price tag of Rs. 5000.
