Phasing out the HTC Touch can be a hard call, especially since the phone has been quite iconic. However, one glance at the HTC Opal and we feel the Touch wouldn’t be missed so much. A shade similar in appearance, the Opal features HTC’s TouchFLO 3D user interface on Windows Mobile 6.1. The phone is powered by TI OMAP 850 and offers support for GSM/EDGE, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0. Additional features include a 2MP camera, and microSD memory slot. Like we said, it is hard to ignore the similarities as the phone replicates the 2.8 inch touchscreen noticed earlier on the Touch. HTC has timed it perfectly after all.
