HTC Desire C smartphone to hit Indian shores this June

Today, HTC announced the HTC Desire C, an entry-level smartphone in UK. This is a stylish handset with all the required features available at an affordable price. Running on latest Android 4.0 (Ice cream sandwich), the handset gives you access to more than 400, 000 apps from Google play store. It offers you an ultimate music experience with the help of Beats Audio. The mobile phone will be available with Vodafone, Three, T-Mobile, O2, Orange and Virgin Media in UK.

The Android phone will feature 600 MHz Qualcomm processor, 3.5-inch HVGA (320 x 480) display, 4 GB of internal storage, 512 MB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera, 1,230 mAh battery, Beats audio and external micro SD card slot that will support up to 32 GB of storage. It will come with HTC Sense 4.0 UI, 3G Connectivity, 3.5 mm headset jack, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS and USB 2.0.

HTC will also release another NFC enabled variant of the phone for users who are looking for advanced features in their entry-level phone. What’s more? You will get a two year of 25 GB Drop Box storage for all your cloud-computing requirements.

Price and availability

HTC Desire C will be available sometimes during this month in three colors-red, white and black. Off contract price of the handset is £169.99, but UK service providers are offering this phone free with plans starting from £15.50 per month.

If you like its specifications, cost and happened to live in UK, then you can pick up the device, as it seems to be a perfect pocket friendly offering from HTC. However, if you are in India, wait for a month to complete your “Desire.”
