Hot fix sounds like some major update for your device but it is just a way to smartly cover the glitch for the manufacturers. There was a problem with the Bluetooth device embedded in the HTC Touch Diamond/Touch Pro/Touch HD and it was quickly rectified with a Hot Fix sometime back. Now, it was discovered that there were some other phones experiencing the same problem namely the HTC Touch 3G, Touch Cruise and S740 and as a consequence, HTC has expanded the Hot Fix to these phones. Nonetheless, leaving aside the caustic attitude, it is good to know that the patches are here on time.
