Nearly half of all British adults send ‘sexts’ to their partners, study reveals

A new study has revealed that one out of nine English people send sexts to their partner. Other statistics show that 47 percent of adults send sexts (sexy texts) to their partner. Another interesting fact to note is 10 percent sexts are delivered to an inappropriate number. To hide their secrets, 14 percent or every seventh adult deletes such texts from his/her mobile phone.

Research on 2,000 adults by Recombu revealed that every fifth adult was sending sexts to a person other than their partner. 12 percent of adults passed their number to other while they were already dating. Lastly, 19 per cent of adult males support the fact that making intimate video calls make their love life better while 14 percent of them were scared of the clips being leaked over the internet.

Editor, Hannah Bouckley stated that these types of video calls and sexts are very common now. People are more confident than ever in using their smartphones for exchanging personal stuff. She further stated that such adults should keep their phones password protected. There have been reports of stolen naked photos from broken phones.
