Cellphones used to detect your sugar level and alcoholic intake, they would now intimate you of the toxic substances around you too. Gentag, a name in the cellphone sensor technology, has patented a “method and apparatus for wide-area surveillance of a terrorist or personal threat.”
The new technology may prove as a boon for those who are allergic to certain substances or gases as their cellphone will warn them of the existence of such things. The pictured above is a cellphone with UV wave sensor that lets you know whether the weather is sunny or not. But that’s really of no use.
But, the new technology of detecting the toxic things with a cellphone is really innovative and impressive.
