Finally a Windows Phone Demonstration

windows phone os walk through

How much did we stress on the fact that Microsoft had made a blunder with the probable nomenclature and within no time we realize that the blunder is here to stay. Windows Phone-as we may call the blunder now- is finally ready and the OS demonstration has revealed a number of details about the system. The demo of the Windows Mobile 6.5-how I wish I could have still used the same name-reveals the completed UI and the Zune-esque reflective feel. The Windows Phone offers new 24-bit menu icons for accessing all of the Windows Phone applications, so surely there is no room left for complacency here. These icons have replaced the standard folder view which pops up on pressing the start button-something which is evident on the current versions of the Windows OS.

Another important thing is the Market Place for Windows Phone demonstration. There are new My Phone synchronization features which facilitate content back-up through a Windows Live Account. Another Software- My Phone PC client-works well for you when you loose your phone as it remotely wipes-out your lost handset and can download all the SMS, emails and contacts to a replacement mobile. Just a different name could have been great for the future of the OS!
