China Mobile has its own way of looking at things and while the iPhone is still getting ‘ready’ for China, an ‘able’ competitor has also started raising its head. China Mobile will soon introduce a 7-inch Android Powered Tablet that will indeed run on the Ophone-an adapted version of the Android. On the connectivity front, the tablet will support TD-SCDMA 3G connectivity. Also, it will be enabled with Voice and video calling, e-mail, browsing, SMS, MMS and multimedia options. Google Voice may have been rejected by Apple and the explanation still looms, but the VoIP service could find an important role here, if of course China Mobile approves it. But they will first have to tell us where the calling and disconnection keys are hidden.
