There has to be a level of transparency when Apple answers disputes but no one seems to be really bothered about this. A couple of months back when the iPhone was overheating Apple put the blame on users saying that the phone was to be used with in a specific temperature. Now when the iPhones are exploding around the world it is back again with its barefaced claims that the user is responsible for those explosions. As far as the cracked screen incidents go, it is not an Apple designing flaw but a mistake of the user who applies excessive pressure on the screen. And the explosions do not happen because of the faulty Li-ion battery but some undisclosed fault of the user again. Apple sure is worried about its repute and that is why these charges are refuted. Apple no where realizes that such excuses are doing more harm to the Cupertino brand repute than it would come across if it acknowledges the misgivings. Apple needs to realize that the World is not dumb even if people madly buy products bearing an Apple moniker.
