When I-Wear was launched, mobile phone users were excited when they came to know that they would not have to strain their eye muscles while watching images on the 2-inch displays of their mobile phones. Now I-Wear will have some tough competition from Eye Glass Display (EGD) module developed by Korea Electronics Technology Institute. EGD can transform a tiny image on the mobile devices to 60-inch virtual image. EGD receives signals such as S-Video, composite, component and analog RGB signal from mobile devices and projects 60-inch full color SVGA virtual images up to a distance of 2m from the cell phone.
