Driving while using your mobile is legal now! The catch – take the wheel in the virtual world ‘coz the Beamers will now be a part of your mobile phones. Hands-On Mobile has partnered with BMW AG and Nürburgring GmbH to introduce, for the first time, BMW Racing on mobile phones. Racing freaks can now drive the M3, M5, M6 and Sauber F1.08 around virtual laps in the Nurburgring circuit – the most intimidating racetrack in the world. The game will be made available on mobile phones by operators in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. The omission of the US has certainly come as a surprise, but we are hoping that Uncle Sam would be able to try his hand at racing, too. The game can be played in two modes – Challenge and Time Trial (yes, like all computer racing games!). People, rev up your engines and brace yourself – it’s time to burn the tarmac.
