I have an iPhone 4. It is running on most updated iOS. I have noticed that my iPhone’s compass, in both the compass app and in Google maps, is off by almost 45 degrees. This error is present away from metal, after performing the figure-8 calibration on my phone, and in both True & Magnetic North settings. Is it possible to fix this problem? What can I do to re-calibrate my iPhone’s compass? I would really appreciate your useful information regarding my queries. Please help. Thanks.
