Bharti Airtel to launch 4G LTE in Kolkata this month

Finally 4G is coming to India and Bharti Airtel is the first company to bring it to the country. They have decided to setup a mark in history by introducing LTE in India but on a limited basis, i.e., only in Kolkata. The company would be the first one to set it up within the country using ZTE-built 2300MHz next-gen network. Airtel had won four markets two years back and there is no information when they are going to cover the rest three. Later this year, Nokia Siemens will be launching the same service in Maharashtra and later in Punjab and Karnataka.

Airtel 4G LTE

Airtel is setting up the network without any testing. ZTE is going to help out Airtel with the set up. It’s been a few months when we actually got 3G and now 4G. It is expected that 3G rates would fall after the release of 4G.
