AT&T is all set to launch its mobile TV service sometime in 2008. With this in view, it is all set to include its MediaFLO- based service on upcoming variants of LG vu mobile phones –CU915 and CU920. One of the devices is believed to support the AT&T MediaFLO-based mobile TV service. In addition to the eight standard channels of programming MediaFLO, that includes Fox, NBC, ESPN, CBS and MTV, which are offered through Verizon’s VCAST, there will be two exclusive channels from AT&T on the new Verizon mobile phone of LG. The upcoming mobile TV service will initially be available in only those sectors where AT&T offers 3G service. As for the yet to be released LG vu it is believed to be a touch-screen color display phone, a close clone of the Prada.
