Though we’ve been seeing a slew of premium mobile phones being launched, the memory cards that these mobile phones featured always used to be of standard specs with the only distinguishing factor being that of different brand names. In a bid to make their memory cards that bit different from that of other manufacturers, SanDisk has come out with a range of premium memory cards that come in different capacities. These memory cards have faster data transfer speeds thus making using them a lot easier to use. SanDisk have even bundled in a card reader that fits straight into the computer’s USB 2.0 port. Though these innovations will definitely make the memory cards more usable, SanDisk have priced their premium memory cards much higher than their other offerings. Till prices fall to existing memory card rates, we don’t see too many people lining up to buy these memory cards just for the faster speeds and the premium tag.
