Before looking at this one I did not know what it takes to be a supernova, apparently, it’ not a lot! The name would have you believe that this is a sort of cellphone that will leave the gizmo geeks euphoric but don’t hold your breath for that for this is just another tri-band (900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM handset with EDGE serving up data at 2.5G speeds. Supernova only refers to the mirror-finished facade of this 11.95mm thick monoblock available in blue or pink, some kind of gender coding, I believe! If you are in China or Taiwan you can register it under your name at $230. Nothing out of this world, this one has 2 megapixel camera, a mirrored display and keypad, FM radio, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD card slot, and 20MB of internal storage, courtesy S40 technology! If you are just looking for a new kid on the block with no nouveau magic powers, this one has your name written on it!
