There are very few phones, even concepts, that would one up iPhone and those that do so have to be brilliant, necessarily so. Plica is one such device. It would easily beat any and every cell phone in the market, touch-screen or otherwise. Conceptualized by James Piatt, California-based industrial designer, Plica is a bulky but sleek-as-hell cell phone design. It is a large device consisting of a humongous screen, actually two of them. When folded with screens out, the device functions as a phone and an internet device. In its full, Plica provides twice the interface that iPhone does. As a matter of fact, it is as easily a mini laptop. At the hinge are located the USB and headphone ports. That browsing as well as viewing images, videos etc. on this device would be a pure delight is quite obvious. Make this one and people would kill for it.
