We tried digging down to the deepest corners on the web but unfortunately there wasn’t anything substantial we could find except the Palm Pre Pixie today. Other than this, the web is thronged with information from the Apple Rock and Roll event and nothing else. The Pixie is Palm’s second WebOS phone with a small and skinny form. The Pixie also called the Eos will come with the same OS as the Palm Pre and will have a 2.63-inch 320×400 capacitive touch screen. On the rear will be a 2MP camera blessed with options like flash and fixed focus. As far as the memory is concerned, everything you intend to store should be limited to 4GB for that is all that the built-in memory allows.
The battery will be a removable 1150mAh option which will be good for 4hours of 3G functionality. On the connectivity front, the phone gets Bluetooth with A2D2, A-GPS and a microUSB connector. AT&T will offer the phone for $99 and just in case anyone wants an unlocked version, it will then cost $349. The Pixie will debut at this week’s Fashion Week in New York.
