While we are almost close to the sci-fi dream of having robots that can cater to our each and every need, we were still missing the company of a life-size robot phone. Dubbed Telenoid R1,the robot is created by Hiroshio Ishiguro of Osaka University, who has previously created a robotic double of himself. Equipped with sensors, Telenoid R1 will transmit the movements and sounds of your caller to replicate them locally. As it is with most of the robotic population of Japan, Telenoid R1 is aimed at providing company to elderly people living alone. But, sorry guys it doesn’t feed your kinky quotient.
