Sony Ericsson’s C905 eight-megapixel handset has already upped the ante for camera phone manufactures and rumors of similar camera credentials from rival cellphone manufacturer Motorola have already been doing the rounds of the blogosphere for some time. Joining the ranks of these prestigious cellphone giants is Korean maker LG, who are rumored to be building a camera phone with similar image resolution. Though the news is as yet unconfirmed, rumors suggest that the 8-mp phone, the LG KC910, will sport a Xenon flash, as well as image stabilization and face recognition along with video recording at a resolution of 720 x 480 at 30 fps. And if you thought that was impressive, the phone is also expected to pack in stuff like a toughened WVGA touchscreen along with a “completely new” user interface, all of which be fitted inside a petite, 14mm thick aluminium casing!
