Given the craze around the iPhone 4, Motorola Droid and a few concept phones like the HTC 1, it might seem that nearly everyone has a smartphone or desires to have one. However, you are in for a big surprise as world’s lightest cellphone, Modu, lands in UK after one year since its launch in hometown Israel. We don’t think it’s out there to shake up the smartphone industry, but we won’t mind it calling “kinda smartphone” that would cash on its future tag line – “From the makers of world’s lightest cellphone.” Featuring all the frills of frills of any decent phone, the Modu keeps your contacts list, does a bit of messaging, and plays back music from its 2GB of built-in, non-upgradeable memory. Priced at £130, the Modu will be available through the Purely Gadgets online store.
