Steven Elop, president of Microsoft’s business division, allowed us a peep into the future via a novel touchscreen concept, dubbed 2019 at the recent Wharton Business Technology Conference. Well, really impressive is this simple-to-look-at UI, displaying indoor GPS positioning, sensor networks, cross-device interaction, the use of pico-projectors and video conferencing. I’m more than impressed with animated drawings, synchronized conversation translations, surface displays, electronic boarding cards and transparent displays. So, you will be primed to do everything from plain calling to complex computing effortlessly. Though some may find this to be an implausible visualization, still I believe this to be the right approach to a techie future.
