The HTC Imagio has been subject to a lot of speculations in the past and it eventually turns out to be a Verizon baby. Also known as the Whitestone, the multimedia smartphone from HTC runs on the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 and it will debut on October 6 which is also the release date for the latest Microsoft OS. The Imagio features a 3.6” wide VGA screen and a 5MP camera assisted by the auto-focus technology. The highlight of the smartphone is Verizon offering V CAST Videos and Songs on demand thus making this phone the first HTC handset open to the V CAST streaming using the Touch FLO support. The Imagio will be available for $199.99 on a two-year contract after a $100 mail-in-rebate.
