I have a new cell phone number and I want it to be my recovery option number for Gmail. I am trying to update my new cell phone number. However, after I go through ‘Change recovery options,’ then SMS and try to ‘Edit,’ it is not letting me to do so. ‘Edit’ email or security question works just fine. How can I update new cell phone number for recovery option for the SMS in Gmail account? I would be really glad if you can assist me regarding this. Thanks.
