The uber stylish Aura from Motorola is ready for another giant stride. With the manufacturer realizing that it was indeed a radio transponder bearing a similar moniker that relayed the first visuals and words from the moon to the earth in the Apollo 11-Motorola has now readied a moon-inspired edition of the Aura. The fixed focus 2MP camera or the Capture/Playback videos aren’t the specialty of this edition and it is advised not to expect the guts going for a grind.
What is special with the ‘celestial edition’ that celebrates 40 years of man on moon is the availability of NASA content from the moon landing, which includes videos, still and sound files of famous lines viz ‘the eagle has landed’ and ‘that’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind’. Quite fittingly, the first of these limited edition phones (will be sold from July till the year end) will be presented to Neil Armstrong.
