ZX1, the cutting edge PDA from Asus is all set to hit the Indian market. As usual, the Indian market is seeing this smartphone’s launch much after its global launch in March. Coming to the phone itself, Asus has joined hands with Lamborghini to create this stylish and racy looking PDA with plenty of bits that wouldn’t be too out of place in even a sports car. How else do you explain the carbon fiber back panel which even has stainless steel to protect the 3 megapixel camera. That is not all, the legendary beehive grille of the Lamborghini now sits on the top of the ZX1’s panel. To further ingrain the Lamborghini feel to this PDA, Asus have included engine sounds in the interface.

Talking about the interface, you have a nice 2.8 inch touchscreen that is complemented by a nine way navigational key that sits right below it. This PDA runs on the Windows Mobile 6 platform that has two modes: Lifestyle and Business. Processing is handled by a decent 520Mhz Qualcomm processor and this PDA manages to cram in 3.5G capability. Other high tech bits like GPS and WiFi also make it into this very stylish quadband PDA. Obviously, all this techno-trickery won’t come for peanuts. Fifty thousand INR is what you’ll end up paying to own this very hot looking piece of mobile phone art.
