Last night, I got a notification on my HTC Hero that an update was available; I went ahead and updated my phone. The phone restarted, and then froze completely. I left it alone for over an hour, and it was still frozen at the sprint startup screen. I went ahead and took the battery off the phone, and then put it back on and turned the phone back on. My phone started back up and immediately gave me an error and then told to try again and then I had to press the ‘force close’ button in the error message. I went to my settings and tried to sync again, and it tells me at the bottom of the screen that ‘Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly.’ I’ve been unable to sync anything from Google ever since. Why am I not able to sync with Google after HTC Hero firmware update? Is there anything I can to do fix this? Please help. Thanks.
