Having introduced PlayNow™ at the end of January 2008, Sony Ericsson was expecting to release the service by May 2008. But for some odd reason the gaming service still remains illusive. Now word doing the rounds of the blogosphere suggests that Sony Ericsson will be launching the PlayNow™ Arena very soon but only for a few European locales including Sweden and United Kingdom.
That’s not fair you know! But at least it’s a start. Initial reports suggest that the service will be available in two versions: WAP and WEB offering a unified portal for buying games, images, and music. That’s gotta be good enough for the time being I guess!
