There’s no denying that the hand held gaming devices are a potential threat to the dedicated gaming platforms however, gaming fans are still waiting for the kind of device that can actually facilitate the shift, until, Sony Ericsson comes out with an Android 3.0 gaming platform and PSP Go-like smartphone. The handset reported to run a skinned version Gingerbread (Android 3.0), looks like a blend between the Samsung Captivate and the PSP Go. Featuring 1GHz Snapdragon processor along with a screen size between 3.7″ and 4.1”, the phone sports gaming controls instead of a QWERTY keyboard in its slider. While there’s little information about the launch date and other specifications, we can already sense a killer gaming handheld device has finally come to threaten dedicated gaming platforms.
