I have a Sony ericsson p990i. Up to now, I only used it for phone service with all my data through WiFi. I have recently subscribed to data service over the cell system but have been able to receive any data. Neither the 2G nor 3G symbol appear on my status bar. I have gone through the manual and a couple of third-party books trying to figure out what to do on my phone end to make data work but just drew a blank. My service provider has “reset” my service a couple of time already but no success. What do I have to do with my phone to receive data?
