How to solve removable disk issue of my Verizon Samsung Glyde?

I have 2 computers, laptop and desktop. When I plug the Verizon Samsung Glyde into the laptop, the software won’t load, but it’s not a big deal. However, on my desktop the software loaded and now it seems as though it automatically hooks the SD card up as a removable drive in windows. If I want to read an e-book, I have to unplug the phone. Same with using anything else that accesses my card, such as Adobe Photoshop Express. Any ideas on how to make it stop?
