The brouhaha over iPhone 3G hasn’t died down yet but the Samsung Omnia (SPH-i900) could well steal the Apple phone thunder. Along with stunning features like 3.2-inch full touch-screen, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi wireless networking, GPS, 32GB memory and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, the sleek Omnia also sports a haptic feedback technology that makes the new iPhone pale in comparison. The Samsung phone is also smaller than the Apple and offers all the goodness of the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system that rests on popularity of various MS apps like e-mail, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Though the Omnia is certainly not as hyped as the iPhone 3G, it certainly beats it spec-by-spec, making it one of those interesting side duels in the cellphone market that will pan out this summer.
