With the Beijing Olympics arena winning accolades for being the first green Olympics, international manufacturers have chosen the venue to launch their eco-friendly products. The mobile phone industry has been criticized for long by the green brigade for contributing to global pollution. Therefore, it is now turn for the leading mobile phone makers to adopt the green mantra. After Nokia’s 3110 Evolve and Samsung W510, the mobile phones with bio-covers, and the first BFR/PVC free mobile phone Samsung F268, Samsung has launched the eco-friendly version of its 9.9mm slim Samsung E200 bar phone – Samsung E200 Eco at the Olympic Rendezvous@Samsung in Beijing.
