Rogers Wireless have just become the first North American carrier to officially launch the jazzy new Nokia N95 8GB with its service. The superb handset is all set to hit Canada starting May 6th and will be priced at $399 for a 3-year contract. Which isn’t such a bad thing considering how the N95 8GB can store upto many a thousand music files and over 20 ours of video, features a stunning 5 megapixel camera with a 20x zoom which also lets you capture high-quality video at 30 frames per second. The fashionable phone also boasts of a 2.8-inch (240 x 320) QVGA 16 million color display, Mobile Mail, compatibility with Nokia’s N-Gage mobile gaming services and TeleNav for maps and directions.
All of which is absolutely thrilling for the time being, but the rate at which mobile technology is progressing, the big question is- do you really want to be stuck with the same phone for three whole years?
