If there was ever a beauty pageant for cellphones, the Sony Ericsson W980 would certainly win a crown or two. But the beauty of the Walkman Series phone has left its mark on many cellphone lovers just as well and this swanky new concept phone called the W988 is a tribute as good as any. Created by this designer called NightBlade, the concept phone takes the basic finesse of the W980 and takes it up another notch with some rad custom features like an external OLED display that places the walkman on top.
The internal screen laps in at 2.4-inch wide and QVGA res while the 5mp camera with PhotoFlash and autofocus definitely offers some rather delicious imaging options. GPS, WiFi, 8GB internal memory as well as an M2 expansion slot make the guts of this puppy almost as pretty as its exteriors and even though its just a concept, this definitely is one cellphone that can take on most fashion-oriented handsets of the world!
