When we hear of a new model of a popular brand under production, we are overwhelmed with curiosity to gain knowledge about the specifics of the device in advance. This was applicable also for Palm Treo 850. After a lot of speculation, the picture of Palm Treo 850 has become somewhat clear. The 14 mm mobile phone will come with a touch screen display, 2-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile Pro 6.1, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GSM, EDGE, UMTS HSDPA connectivity and micro-SD slot for expandable memory.
The Treo 850 will not be the PalmOS version of the Centro as was speculated by some Centro enthusiasts. It will be a little wider and slimmer than the Centro. Palm has also done away with the Athena Connector of its earlier models, has introduced Wi-Fi, and has become more manageable with micro-USB connector for both power and sync.
