Palm CEO Ed Colligan has officially confirmed the new Treo 680 that is a low-end GSM smartphone. The company is expected to reveal more info on the phone soon. Anyways, it looks like a successor to the Treo 650. The Treo 680 will come equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, VGA camera and 64MB of RAM. Well, the new smartphone lacks the antenna, 3G support, infrared and runs on the Palm OS. I will be back with more info about the new handset.
