It’s common with all cell phone users to forget charger at home or work, but how cool is it if you can use someone else’s, knowing it will fit your phone. This however is going to happen in EU next year with the introduction of one-size-fits-all phone chargers. A European Commission spokesperson said “It is expected that consumers will be able to use the same, one-size-fits-all charger for mobile phones sold in the EU from the beginning of 2011.” Apart from the ease of using any charger lying around, the move is expected to improve energy-efficiency and reduce energy consumption and also the electronic waste.
