Recently, NTT DoCoMo has launched ten mobile phones with touch pad key and smell. The company has launched the D800iDS, a clamshell mobile with touch pad screen.
The D800iDS has a touch screen instead of keypad in the bottom. A number pad can be displayed in the touch screen to dial calls or the user can simply draw the numbers with their finger and the phone will recognize the character. The touch screen of the mobile phone also allow user to create and send hand-written messages or drawing to their friends and family. It opens a variety of different games utilizing the dual screens.
The company is also releasing mobile phone, which has smell quality and ability to send different smells between users of the phone through the air. The company has already launched the mobile phone for Sony Ericsson, named SO703i, ‘aroma phone‘, which incorporates smell-scented sheets into the phone.
