In February this year, we first saw the Nokia N96 that Nokia stressed was a multimedia computer rather than a cell phone. Finally, customers in UK will get the opportunity to use the N96 as the flagship model of the Nokia N-series phone, with the official launch announced for 1 October. N96 will come with DVB-H TV tuner for live TV broadcasting, 2.8-inch display, 3G, 16GB memory, microSD card, 5-megapixel camera and A-GPS support. It supports common video formats such as MPEG4, Windows Media Video and Flash with fast video transferring and accessing speed using USB2.0, WLAN and HSDPA support. It will have quite a wide array of carriers in UK including Carphone Warehouse, Orange, 3, Phone4U, T-Mobile and Vodafone.
