It was only a couple of day’s back that we came across the first official image of the Maemo 5 running Nokia N900 and we thought it would probably be detailed at the Nokia World 2009. However, this wasn’t the case and the Nokia N900 has broken cover today with the Maemo 5 intact as predicted. The Internet tablet also has a 3.5-inch touch-screen that as speculated is very much ‘resistive’. Other features include a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 32GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 48GB with a microSD card and GPS/AGPS. (video after the jump)

It also has an FM transmitter, TV-out, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi and a 1320mAh battery. Flip the phone and you will find a 5MP camera with a Carl Zeiss lens supported by dual-LED flash. An ARM Cortex-A8 with 1GB of application memory and OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics acceleration makes this phone good for any damn application. By the look of things, it is the T-Mobile USA subscribers which will get lucky and for the others, it will be out there in select markets for €500.
