Imitation is the best form of flattery and KNC’s M-700 PMP has almost done that by copying half of Nokia’s 5310. Half because the M-700 PMP looks very much like a Nokia 5310 minus it’s keypad. So, the KNC must be one wide device. No, not really, it comes with a 2.6 inch display, which in all probability will sport a touchscreen function as we cannot find any other means of interacting with the display apart from the 3 music keys. The device itself looks very stylish with clean looks and the nice looking, play, pause and forward keys, a-la-nokia 5310. A storage memory of 4 GB, which we think will fall short of most peoples’ needs, comes with the M-700; and there are no details as yet about expandability. Processing is taken care by a 400Mhz processor which is very decent by PMP standards. Coming to the media playing abilities, various codecs ranging from DivX to XviD abound making the M-700 an effective media player. Pricing, though is not known at the moment.
