New Sony Ericsson HCB-150 speakerphone gives out caller announcements

How many times have you almost crashed your car while trying to check who’s calling you on your cell phone? I’ve stopped counting a long time ago. So pardon me for saying exactly how much I’m loving the new Sony Ericsson HCB-150 speakerphone which actually features a text-to-speech function that identifies the caller for you via your Bluetooth headset. The set also has very cool touch-sensitive controls and an impressive OLED display which you can obviously use as a visual caller ID in case you want your phone to feel more ‘normal’. The speakerphone is compatible with at least 5 different handsets and copies the contacts from your set allowing you to scroll through your phonebook with a jog dial. With 700 hours of standby and 25 hours of talk time, the HCB-150 is a must have for all those who have to spend a sizeable amount of time commuting to and from work. The gizmo is expected to hit the market in the second quarter of the year, although in case you are cheating on your wife/girlfriend you want to stay as far away as possible from the caller announcing gadget!
