A couple of years back if I bought a cell phone, it definitely would have been a Nokia or a Sony Ericsson and nothing beyond that. I would consider the same names even today; with only one addition and that would be HTC. Seriously, the company has gained grounds in the Smartphone market, quicker than expected and all that is well deserved keeping in mind the products it has revealed.
The speculation now is that the company is planning to introduce another phone from its slider series in addition to the already in sale, HTC S730 and HTC TyTN II. The above diagram depicts the dynamics on which the speculated version would work. Full marks to gsmlobby for making this scoop public, but sadly, the explanation it gives on the probable functioning of the expected phone is jarred, so no point giving it a mention here. From the gist of it, it would be a multi-directional slider, with a QWERTY keyboard and other Smartphone features, probably the next edition of HTC S730.
