MSV brings Satellite Phone from ‘Lost’ to life

I know ever since ‘Lost’ made its debut on our television sets we have all secretly wished that our planes would crash on a lonely island where we could have a shot with hotties like Josh Holloway! But since these stupid domestic flyers seem to be intent on spending millions of dollars on getting navigational gizmos that don’t let their planes go off course, the only bit of ‘Lost’-sized adventure in our lives could possibly come from this MSV (Mobile Satellite Ventures) L-Series satellite phone.

The phone is not an exact replica of the satphone that Naomi brought over to the island, but it comes mighty close. The new hybrid satellite/cellular system features a 320×480 multi-touch screen, smartphone style applications, high-speed internet access with Wi-Fi, cellular/satellite connectivity, web cam and a speakerphone. The bad news is though, the .6-inch slim satphone will only get satellite coverage in North America, so all you international Lost fans will just have to wait that tad bit longer to make your adventure fantasies come true.
