Finally, Motorola has woken up from its slumber after losing a huge chunk of its Razr users to Apple’s iPhone. There is news that the company is working on its new flagship model that has been codenamed Alexander and hopes to incorporate new and improved features that it had missed out earlier. While last year saw a string of 5-megapixel camera phones from leading mobile phone makers, Motorola was working at a snail’s pace to incorporate the 5-megapixel in its devices until it launched the ZN5 candy bar. However, its upcoming model will have a far improved 8-megapixel camera. It is also bringing in the 3D revolution to its device with in-built NVIDIA chip for displaying video and 3D graphics. It will run on UIQ 4.0 operating system and will have GPS. The probable date of release of the new Motorola model is sometime in October this year. What remains to be seen is whether Motorola with the 8-megapixel camera and 3D graphics can win back its customers who had abandoned it.
